Description: Distribution Automation (DA) training consists of a three-part course that provides an overview of the Itron GenX solution for automated distribution of electric power by utility companies. This includes a general overview of the GenX Itron products involved in Distribution Automation and key network and Radio-Frequency (RF) design concepts. Attendees will learn about basic setup and configuration of the solution, along with DA management using GridScape. Topics related to basic maintenance and troubleshooting are also included in this course.
Intended Audience Personnel responsible for installation, configuration, and/or monitoring of distribution networks.
Prerequisite: Utility IQ 101 desired
